Join Devon County Council as a Resource Manager - Social Care Provision
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering high-quality Adult Social Care services? Devon County Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Resource Manager to lead our In-House provider services across the county.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the managers of our five care homes and five day centres. You will ensure these services are person-centred, compliant with CQC regulations and aligned with our strategic goals. Your leadership will drive quality assurance, operational excellence and transformational change across the Adult Social Care directorate.
You will manage a significant budget (£3–7 million) and lead a team of service managers and frontline staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Collaboration is key - you will work closely with health, housing and voluntary sector partners to deliver integrated, cost-effective care that meets the needs of Devon’s communities.
We are looking for someone with:
• proven experience in managing Health or Social Care services
• strong knowledge of CQC standards and quality assurance frameworks
• excellent leadership, communication and change management skills
• a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience
You will work alongside, support and provide cover as required for the Resource Manager for Community Based Reablement Services. We are actively reviewing how we develop our Provision and it is essential that you are flexible and open to an evolving portfolio of service leadership.
