Join Our Team as a Process Engineer
Exciting opportunity to work on the SMR Project – be a part of designing complex thermal and fluid systems for the innovative SMR project and contribute to a commercially groundbreaking new build.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze & calculate cooling water island systems with cutting‑edge analysis and calculation methods.
* Perform static and transient flow and thermal analyses using advanced software tools.
* Assist in designing and integrating various systems.
* Produce, review, and update system documentation.
* Define control strategies for system performance.
* Determine appropriate sizes for system components.
* Conduct thermal‑hydraulic calculations and modelling.
* Formulate detailed equipment specifications.
Qualifications
* Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics.
* Proven experience producing design documentation and test specifications.
* Proficiency with PIPESIM, Flomaster, or other 1D CFD software.
* Due to the nature of the work, applicants must meet UK security clearance criteria.
