The role of Fire Risk Consultant involves:
* Conducting Legislative and Non-Legislative Fire Risk assessments.
* Producing Fire Safety related reports, such as Reg 38 Fire Strategy, aligned with your skills and qualifications.
* Ensuring all work complies with current Legislative requirements, standards, and guidance.
* Collaborating with Principal Fire Risk Consultant/Validator and Directors to maintain third-party certification.
* Serving as a key client contact for consultancy projects and undertaking FRAs across various sectors, including offices, factories, hotels, residential flats, residential care, NHS buildings, schools, and colleges.
* Completing projects on time and within budget, ensuring technical accuracy.
* Ensuring FRA assessments, validation, and releases meet NSI processes and procedures.
* Complying with all relevant policies and procedures.
* Participating in business development activities.
* Performing any other activities necessary for the smooth operation of the company.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Behaviours:
* Experience in all aspects of Fire Risk Assessments, especially in high-risk buildings.
* Strong communication and customer engagement skills, with the ability to effectively communicate within high-risk environments.
* Ability to manage own schedule, be punctual, polite, and work well within a team.
* Professional behaviour when dealing with clients.
* Qualifications meeting or exceeding company standards.
Salary range: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum.
