Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hertfordshire. The Electronic Repair Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment. Daily tasks will include soldering, performing maintenance, and ensuring the functionality of various electronic systems. Effective communication with team members and clients is also a key aspect of this role.
The successful candidate will be able to:
· Repair a diverse range of industrial equipment down to component level, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
· Work independently, with the support of other engineers around to help when required.
· Collaborate effectively with our team of engineers, sharing knowledge and ideas to enhance our collective expertise.
Skills Required:
· Proven experience in replacing electronic components is required
· Fault finding down to component level, often without the benefit of manufacturers' information or wiring diagrams
· Possess a strong understanding of various electronic components and their functions.
· Undertake tasks efficiently and independently
· Utilise strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues on complex electronic circuits
· Exceptional attention to detail
Qualifications
* Electronics Repair, Maintenance & Repair, and Troubleshooting skills
* Proficiency in Soldering and handling electronic components
* Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
* Relevant certification or degree in Electronics or a related field
* Experience with equipment from manufacturers such as Kone, Danfoss, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Mitsubishi Electric, Control Techniques, and Siemens is a plus
