Whats the role all about?
As a Graduate Quality Engineer, youll support quality assurance activities across manufacturing, suppliers and customer-facing projects.
Youll work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to help ensure products meet customer specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
This is a varied role offering exposure to audits, investigations, continuous improvement, root cause analysis and quality systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
* Support quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations
* Assist with customer and supplier quality activities
* Support investigations into non-conformances and quality issues
* Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D
* Help compile quality documentation including AS9102 FAIR documentation
* Participate in internal and supplier audits
* Support continuous improvement projects across the business
* Analyse quality and process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
* Support process capability and quality control activities
* Assist with inspection and verification activities where required
* Support maintenance of quality systems and standards including ISO9001 and AS9100
What youll need
To succeed in this role, youll bring:
* HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Quality
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Interest in quality engineering and regulated manufacturing environments
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work across multiple departments and projects
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
Desirable
* Placement year or industry experience within manufacturing or engineering
* Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, root cause analysis or Six Sigma
* Understanding of ISO9001 or AS9100 standards
* Exposure to engineering drawings or inspection processes
