We are seeking an experienced Senior Unit Linked Box Manager on a permanent basis to join our dynamic Investment Reporting team, based in our Alderley Edge or Edinburgh offices. Following team changes and increased responsibilities, this role offers a unique opportunity to help integrate new work and set future standards for the team's success.
The Unit Linked Box Management team handles unit pricing and monitors/manages market risk exposure from the box (company holding) in unit-linked funds.
This role involves managing the delivery of unit-linked processes and ensuring compliance with company policies to control box exposure. You will work closely with investment managers, third-party providers, and senior leadership to ensure timely trading within unit-linked funds, minimizing market risk.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, with a strong understanding of unit-linked fund pricing and box management in financial services. Your contributions will support strategic Group projects, contributing to our overall success. About the role
* Oversee daily operations of box management processes, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs and continuous process improvements.
* Analyze unit pricing issues or errors, ensuring compliance with controls and governance.
* Communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders, including via governance forums.
* Delegate, review, and coach team members, sharing expertise in complex box management and unit-pricing processes.
* Engage regularly with senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders, providing support, insights, and challenge.
* Contribute subject-matter expertise on unit-linked activities to strategic Group projects.
About you
* Experience in unit-linked box management and unit pricing is essential.
* Strong stakeholder management skills; able to represent Group Finance effectively in meetings and influence decisions.
* Team player who can work independently and guide others, acting as a key contact for related teams.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and meet tight deadlines.
* Proactive, decisive, and innovative in problem-solving and process improvement.
