FUSO Trucks: FUSO, a subsidiary of Daimler, specialises in light and medium-duty trucks. They offer practical solutions for urban delivery, short-haul transport, and vocational applications. FUSO trucks are known for their agility, fuel efficiency, and low environmental impact.
We are dedicated to sustainable transportation solutions to provide fuel efficiency, emission reduction and safety across our ranges.
Daimler Truck is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Municipal & Special Applications Key Account Manager to join our Truck Sales and Marketing team.This role will be responsible for steering, developing, and growing the sales volume of new trucks to the Municipal sector of the industry.
This is a Full-Time position.

Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Performance: Drive sales and associated services performance in allocated accounts and local authority's, ensuring alignment with volume and discount plans to meet operational targets.
* Tender Coordination: Manage sales volume performance in Municipal tender-related business by interacting with tender platforms to achieve brand market share objectives.
* Customer Relationship Management: Maximise relationships with Municipal and key account customers by implementing and adhering to a contact strategy involving senior management and dealer partners.
* Fleet Customer Records: Maintain transparency and completeness of fleet customer contact records for accurate record-keeping.
* Account Management: Provide in-service account management and problem resolution for allocated accounts, utilising all available resources to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Reporting Systems: Develop and maintain reporting systems for account and volume planning alignment with dealer partners and the DTUK executive team.
* Customer Opportunities: Prioritise customer opportunities that deliver multi-point downstream revenues or strategic importance to build a profitable and sustainable business.
* Municipal Sales Development: Motivate, promote, and develop Municipal Sales through dealer partners, ensuring this segment receives adequate attention and reporting issues to management.
* Service Level Provision: Develop service level provision to Municipal and Special Applications Customers from dealer partners to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Business Development Plans: Create, implement, and maintain National Business Development Plans for municipal, bodybuilders, tender business, and allocated fleet accounts to ensure sales growth.
* Brand Ambassador: Set the highest example of being a brand and product ambassador for Mercedes-Benz & FUSO Trucks, enhancing customer perception and brand image at all touchpoints.
Qualifications
About you:
* Ideally a highly developed business/commercial orientation in the logistics/haulage/Truck market place
* Sales experience and a detailed knowledge of the Truck market, including acquisition methods, service packages.
* Experience and understanding of Truck service and maintenance requirements and commercial practices
* Business acumen at a high level
* Strong leadership and excellent people management skills to drive high performance
* Highly developed numeracy and commercial judgement of deal quality
* Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels
* A comprehensive understanding of franchised Truck dealer networks with the proven ability to influence positive change and outcomes to meet customers’ requirements
* Full driving license, with CE entitlement advantageous
