Salary: £12.21 per hour (£20,952.36 per annum) | Working Hours: 33 hours per week | £300 Joining Bonus
We are currently recruiting for Essential Care and Support Limited - Abbeyvale Care Center, based in Hartlepool. Essential Care and Support is part of the National Care Group and provides person-centred care across supported living, outreach and day services. Abbeyvale Care Centre is a warm and caring residential service designed to support people with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, symptoms of old age, dementia and mental health needs.

Role
This is a Care Assistant role at Abbeyvale Care Center. You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a challenging but rewarding role.
Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
* Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
* Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
* Help plan and participate in days out as wished.
* Make a positive impact on someone’s life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
Qualities and Requirements
* A caring attitude with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to help them achieve goals.
* A team player able to work effectively with colleagues.
* Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support when needed.
* Excellent listening and communication skills.
