We are seeking a
Senior Brand Communications & Patient Relations Manager
to lead multi-stakeholder engagement and deliver integrated communications strategies that make a tangible difference for patients and healthcare professionals alike.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute multi-channel communications programmes across assigned therapy areas, including digital, social, traditional, and non-media channels, fully compliant with relevant industry codes of practice.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with patient organisations, journalists, and healthcare stakeholders, ensuring patient needs are central to all activities.
* Develop strategies and plans to enhance brand presence, reputation, and profile in the UK healthcare landscape.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Market Access, Medical, External Affairs) and global colleagues to ensure alignment and impactful delivery of campaigns.
* Champion digital innovation, bringing new ideas and trends into the communications mix.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on communications activities with robust KPIs to ensure success and continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Significant experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare communications, ideally a mix of in-house and agency work.
* Strong digital expertise and experience in multi-channel campaigns.
* Proven track record in patient relations and integrated communications strategies.
* Excellent understanding of the UK healthcare system, including NHS, NICE, SMC, and relevant patient communities.
* Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Deep knowledge of relevant industry codes of practice to ensure the highest compliance standards.
