We expect you to work with foster carers as partners and guide them to their full potential within parameters of the Fostering National Minimum Standards 2011. We come from a restorative practice base and encourage and celebrate successes and support to find ways of making a difference when things just don’t go so well. For this post we are looking to recruit a Fostering Supervising Social Worker for a permanent position of full time 37 hours. The post is countywide, and the majority of your foster carers will be living in the north of the county. We are offering this role so that we can meet the needs of increasingly growing fostering kinship service. Importantly your work will be child focused, analytical, and based on safeguarding evidence. Some evening and weekend work is required. We would welcome you into a stable and established team and offer training and high-quality supervision.
