What you will do:
Provide harm reduction advice and support focusing on safer drug use, safer sex, and prevention of blood-borne infections such as HIV and Hepatitis.
Act as a key worker, managing a full caseload of clients and providing tailored support.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and collaborate with multi-disciplinary colleagues to develop and review structured care plans.
Deliver structured psycho-social interventions, including CBT-based therapy and motivational enhancement techniques.
Facilitate group work interventions and provide a needle exchange service.
Engage in service user involvement, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs met.
Collaborate with professionals to address safeguarding and mental health needs of service users.
Motivate and support service users in their recovery journey, encouraging movement away from maintenance treatment when appropriate.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
Experience in substance misuse or drug and alcohol services.
Strong understanding of recovery-focused practices.
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills.
