Drivers Essential
Part time or full time shifts available – 16‑36 hours/week.
Shift Pattern: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, 12:00 noon – 8:30 pm and a wakened night shift. Support is provided 24/7, with rotas reflecting this. Flexibility can be accommodated where needed, ensuring fairness across the team.
Drivers preferred: Jamie has his own car which he enjoys using with support from his Personal Assistant.
Pay: £13.45 / hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
* Support Jamie in daily tasks such as shopping, community visits, and maintaining his own home.
* Expand Jamie’s social networks and connections.
* Collaborate with the Personal Assistants team to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.
Qualifications & Requirements
* No prior care experience required – we recruit based on values and transferable skills.
* Commitment, dedication and a genuine desire to support someone with learning disability, epilepsy and a learning disability.
* Willingness to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start date.
* Ability to work the specified shift pattern and accommodate a rotating 24/7 schedule.
