Based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, this role combines technical design, project ownership, and collaborative innovation within a forward-thinking manufacturing environment.
Working Hours & Benefits
Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
• Friday: 08:30 – 13:30

Manage product development projects from concept through to mass production
• Deliver robust designs that meet customer specifications and performance targets
• Perform thermodynamic and fluid transfer calculations using internal and external tools
• Conduct design evaluations via theoretical tools, CAD (CREO), and prototype testing
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including validation, manufacturing, and engineering
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Occasional UK and overseas travel may be requiredCandidate Requirements
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (with a strong mechanical bias)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an engineering design or development role
• Automotive industry experience preferred but not essential
• Project management experience within a technical environment
• Strong 3D/2D design experience (preferably CREO) including GD&T knowledge
• Familiarity with CFD, FEA, and numerical analysis tools
