You will be predominantly working with our Trade division, SternFenster, to complete service work on Aluminium and PVC windows and doors, for our network of trade customers across the country. Nights away will be arranged where applicable and be paid for by the Company. From time to time, you will also work with the retail team, Starglaze, to provide support and cover to ensure service calls and installs are carried out in a timely and professional manner.

Skills required
·Self-motivated, logical, resourceful, forward thinking, able to act on your own initiative and as part of a team with a “just do it” attitude
·Highly organised and efficient with the ability to remain calm under pressure
·Confident and professional communicator with the public and work colleagues
·Ability to bring a positive attitude to the team
·Extensive knowledge of window/door installations and general construction
·Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
·To represent the Company in a courteous and professional manner and to always present a neat and tidy image of yourself
·To ensure that the customers property is protected with the use of dust sheets and any items close to the working area are carefully removed prior to any work commencing
·Ensure that you leave the customers property clean and tidy each time
·Complete all Site Visit/Service Call paperwork thoroughly, ensuring customer signs to confirm acceptance of work carried out and or details of further work to be scheduled and ensure handed back to office team for scanning in a timely manner.
·Completing service work/installations in accordance with the agreed schedule, reporting accurately any problems unresolved at the time
·Liaise with the customer and/or office if you are experiencing any delays during your day
·To follow all reasonable instructions, guides, and processes to ensure that work gets completed in a timely and professional manner
·Check goods prior to leaving site to ensure that there are no issues before arriving on site, communicate any issues to your line manager
·To maintain the Company vehicles in accordance with the Company vehicle rules, ensuring that vehicles are always kept clean and tidy (both inside and out)
·Ensure that any goods are protected during transportation to site and whilst on site
·Take responsibility for any Company owned/hired tools and equipment
·Ensure that you follow the health and safety rules and report any breaches of rules, near misses or unsafe acts to your line manager immediately
·To carry out a dynamic risk assessment prior to starting any task and to appraise your line manager of any potential hazards or problems you face before starting work
As a term of your employment, you may be required to undertake such other duties and/or hours of work as may reasonably be required of you.
