Our client is a well-established and reputable company specialising in high-quality structural steel fabrication and installation. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced MIG and TIG Weld Fabricator to join their skilled team.
Job Description:
This is a hands-on role for a qualified and reliable fabricator with proven experience in MIG and TIG welding on structural steel. The role involves both workshop-based fabrication and on-site installation, so flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* MIG and TIG welding of structural steel components
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans
* Fabricating steel structures to precise specifications
* Site work, including installation and assembly of fabricated components
* Working to project deadlines while maintaining high safety and quality standards
* Collaborating with other team members and site personnel
Requirements:
* Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding on structural steel
* Strong fabrication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Comfortable working on-site as well as in a workshop environment
* Full UK driving licence preferred
* CSCS card and relevant site certifications an advantage
* Commitment to health and safety standards
