Tradewind collaborate with many mainstream schools in the area that need strong LSAs that can support students with SEMH and SEND needs. The role of a Learning Support Assistant involves the following:
Support students that have a range of different abilities and help them progress in school considering different learning needs.
Work closely with pupils 1:1 and in small groups following ECHP and IEPS.
Assist with preparing activities and create tasks that engage students learning.
Implement interventions that help students with skills relating to various subjects.
Monitor progress and plan strategies to encourage learning development.During your placement, Tradewind Recruitment will support you with CPD training through the National College, opportunities that are suited to your skill set, and your own personal consultant that can take care of any needs during the placement.

A child only enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to undertake one.
