The Threat Intelligence team seeks an experienced analyst to help reduce cyber risk by understanding the threat landscape and communicating this information to internal stakeholders to mitigate threats.
Responsibilities
* Address Northern Trust's intelligence requirements by monitoring and analyzing developments in the threat landscape that could affect the organization's risk posture.
* Support the delivery of existing products and services for internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with technical and non-technical functions across the organization to support risk-reduction efforts.
* Engage and develop relationships with government partners, intelligence-sharing organizations, and commercial providers. Represent the firm in industry groups and forums.
* Help mature the Threat Intelligence function, improve its products and services, and enhance engagement with customers.
Skills & Qualifications
* Analytic rigor and intellectual curiosity
* Experience in threat intelligence
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to executive audiences on complex issues
* Strong understanding of the global cyber threat landscape with a focus on the financial sector
* Ability to understand and explain the relevance of strategic geopolitical and technological developments
* Knowledge of intelligence tradecraft, structured analytic techniques, and risk assessment methodology. Experience with threat intelligence and cybersecurity frameworks (STIX, MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain, NIST, CRI)
* Experience with a variety of threat intelligence use cases to support multiple customers
* Formal CTI qualifications (e.g., CREST, SANS)
* Understanding of global regulatory expectations related to threat intelligence
