We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading events company behind one of the UK’s fastest-growing trade shows – connecting architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers across the built environment sectors.
This event is quickly becoming a must-attend destination for the industry, and they’re now looking for a Sales Manager to help take the show to the next level.
The Role:
As Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving commercial performance, developing new business, building lasting client relationships, and playing a key role in the continued growth of the show.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sell exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and digital products to new and returning clients
* Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with revenue targets and show objectives
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
* Cultivate long-term relationships across multiple event cycles
* Represent the show at industry events and in-person client meetings
* Collaborate with event, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery
* Produce accurate sales reports and forecasts for strategic planning
* Help position the event as a key player within the design and construction space
Success in the role will be measured by:
* Hitting or exceeding revenue targets
* Growth in client retention and lifetime value
* A strong, growing pipeline of qualified leads
* Securing high-profile sponsors and strategic partnerships
* Positive exhibitor feedback and stakeholder satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in exhibitions, events, or media
* Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and closing high-value deals
* Knowledge of or interest in the construction, interiors, or architecture sectors
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* A self-starter attitude with the ability to collaborate across teams
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
