Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Newcastle from September 2026. The Role
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Humanities subjects
* Teach students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
* Monitor, assess, and support student progress and achievement
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Contribute to the wider life of the department and school community
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has previous experience teaching Humanities subjects within a secondary school setting
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education
* Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
* Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for learners
