St Edmund’s has an outstanding record of sporting achievement and results and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivational member of staff to join the team. This role is full time. In PE we aim to provide pupils with an exciting and fulfilling curriculum in which many different teaching styles are used. We love the idea of pupils taking responsibility and roles within PE lessons which allows them to develop respect, maturity, leadership skills and social interactions. Our teaching prides itself on pupil discovery, and we feel as a Department; methods such as trial and error, whole-part-whole and guided discovery are key for pupil development. In lessons pupils will experience pupil-led warm ups, exciting and innovative drills and lots of conditioned games which allow them to apply and evaluate the skills learnt.
