What is the opportunity?
Industrials in Europe is a key strategic priority for the firm, aligning with RBC’s European and global market share growth ambitions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing European Industrials sector team. Reporting into the Head of European Industrials, the role of Vice President, Investment Banking, Industrials is responsible for working with an existing team in supporting origination and executing M&A and capital markets transactions across all relevant sub-verticals (including diversified industrials, services, A&D, aviation & logistics, building products and chemicals).
What will you do?
* Provide coverage support of Industrial accounts across RBC’s core European coverage countries
* Work with IB & Capital Markets product teams to identify opportunities
* Assist in the management of junior members of the Industrials team
* Maintain close working relationships with country teams and product groups including M&A, Leveraged Finance, DCM and Corporate Banking
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Demonstrated ability to work at Vice President level on transactions
* Ideally have prior Investment Banking experience in and a willingness to work across multiple industries
* An understanding of valuation techniques standard in this industry
* An understanding of capital and accounting rules appropriate for different sub-sectors
* Curiosity and drive
