SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary
Location: Burgess Hill and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible Days)
Salary: £89.05 – £110 per day
Hours: School hours (typically 08:30 – 15:30)
Key Responsibilities
Supporting students with SEN in their learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
Delivering 1:1 or small group support to help pupils stay focused and confident
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom routines
Helping to create a calm, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
Adapting to different schools and age groups with a flexible and positive approach
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (in education, care, youth work, etc.)
A calm, patient, and supportive attitude
Confidence and flexibility to work in a variety of school settings
A genuine interest in helping students succeed
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
