Elmstead is a 40-bedded residential home which includes a 12 bedded safe environment for residential dementia care, welcoming both long and short‑term stays.
The home has good transport links with a regular bus route going to Bromley and Eltham stopping directly outside the home, local train station walking to London only a short walk away and easy access to the A20.
Elmstead has four comfortable lounges ideal for socialising, relaxing or welcoming visitors. Other facilities include an onsite hairdressing salon and well‑maintained gardens with spacious patio areas, summer house and pond. Visiting chiropodists, opticians and dentists are available by appointment.
The chef takes a personal approach to diet, with meals catered to individual tastes. Cold snacks and alternatives are available throughout the day.
There’s a real sense of community at the home. Staff work to discover what residents enjoy, and the home’s social calendar is organised around those interests.
Elmstead features a large activities room and a dedicated activities team, offering a seven‑day programme including breakfast club, baking clubs, live entertainment, school half‑term family days with local children, craft mornings with the local nursery, movement to music and animal visits.

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By
* You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
* Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up‑keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms.
* You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day‑to‑day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go.
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
