An exciting opportunity has arisen in Essex Police for the role of Recruitment Assistant within the Corporate Recruitment Team.
This role is key in supporting recruitment and selection activities for Police Officers and Police Staff for both Essex Police and Kent Police. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating computerised records, assisting with planning, organising, and running assessment centres and selection processes to ensure efficient recruitment.
The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience, be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with HR database systems like SAP is desirable.
Experience in large-scale recruitment and outreach event organization is essential. Effective communication skills are required to liaise with Managers, Assessors, and Candidates regarding recruitment processes.
The role demands a self-motivated, flexible individual with attention to detail, capable of working independently and in a team. Although primarily Monday to Friday, occasional weekend and evening work, as well as travel to Kent, may be required.

Salary will increase to a maximum of £28,650.00 through incremental rises within this band.
