Knowledge Management & Research Officer — Point 13 Jobs
This role is with The Leprosy Mission Great Britain (TLMGB). The organisation seeks a Knowledge Management & Research Officer with a passion for research and supporting marginalised communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Improving the quality of TLMGB’s research partnerships and funded research projects.
* Liaising between TLMGB and research partners to coordinate the reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
* Compiling internal summaries and recommendations based on reports.
* Ensuring all KPI data is up to date, analysed and reported on.
* Facilitating TLMGB’s knowledge production, learning and dissemination processes and contributing to research dissemination through internal and external meetings, presentations, workshops and conferences.
* Maintaining the TLMGB research website.
* Reviewing project proposals to ensure that operational research and learning are incorporated into new project design.
* Providing logistical support for learning and dissemination meetings globally, including hotels, flights, visas, etc.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum of two years’ experience in the not-for-profit or research sectors (applications welcome from people with expertise in disability services, basic science, public health, research, quality assurance, or social enterprise development).
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to project manage initiatives.
* Knowledge of good practice in project cycle management within an international development organisation.
* Experience of project cycle management and donor reporting, with an understanding of the reporting requirements of research donors.
* Good understanding of research and evaluation methodologies with the ability to analyse data.
* Experience coordinating cross-team initiatives and skilled in building cross-cultural relationships.
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to synthesise information and write training materials and reports.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak persuasively, represent the organisation and run webinars.
Contract
Part-time (21 hours per week), fixed-term contract for 12 months.
Location
Peterborough with hybrid working.
