Project Accountant – Global Brand Experiences • Contract: Full-time

What’s the role?
As our Project Accountant, you’ll be the go-to expert for project-level financial performance — overseeing reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and commercial analysis across our portfolio of global campaigns. You’ll work closely with Finance, Account Management, Project Management, and Resource Management teams to deliver clear insight into profitability, utilisation, and cashflow. More than just the numbers, this role makes data actionable, drives efficiency, and spots risks and opportunities before they land. This is a pivotal position for someone who knows how to navigate complexity, bring clarity, and keep creativity commercially viable.
What you’ll be doing
* Delivering accurate, timely reporting on project profitability, utilisation, and cashflow (actuals and 3–6 month forecast)
* Supporting pricing and estimating processes with financial review and challenge
* Managing purchasing, PO creation, and supplier cost control
* Overseeing expense tracking and credit card reconciliation across projects
* Forecasting client revenue and internal resource needs
* Supporting budget creation and monitoring to align with gross profit goals
* Collaborating with HUB leads and Resource Management to optimise project delivery
* Escalating financial risks and variances to CCO and department heads
* Championing the use of reporting tools like Scoro, Thoughtspot, and Hubspot
* Partnering with the Financial Controller to support cashflow and board-level reporting
* Driving continuous improvement in financial systems, tools, and processes
What we’re looking for
* Strong commercial acumen, ideally with experience in agency, creative, or project-driven environments
* Advanced reporting and Excel skills (experience with Scoro, Thoughtspot or Hubspot is a bonus)
* Confident communicator who can work across functions and mediate priorities
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and process-driven
* Experience navigating complex budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
* A collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments and knows how to influence without authority
