We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer with expertise in C++ to join our dynamic team in Bolton. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our Defence projects. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet stringent security and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
* Implement software solutions that are secure, efficient, and scalable.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Software Developer with a strong focus on C++.
* Experience in the Defence sector or a related industry is highly desirable.
* Must be able to commute to Bolton.
* Must hold a current SC Clearance.
* Must be a British National.
* Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
