We are looking for a Hardware Team Lead to join our Avionics, Video and Systems Team!
As our Hardware Team Lead you will be responsible for programming, executing, and supervising hardware engineering activities within one of our Integrated Product Teams (IPT).

Your Challenge

* Hardware Design Authority for hardware activities.
* Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System requirements.
* As one of the senior members of the IPT, plan and execute the engineering programme, to ensure that it is delivered within budget, to schedule, and meets customer requirements.
* Driven to find hardware solutions for EMC, thermal, vibration and other environmental conditions.
* Comfortable working in a regulated design environment (aerospace / automotive / medical / safety-critical).
* Comfortable being the hardware expert in customer facing meetings.
What You Bring
* Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science (or equivalent).
* At least 5 years experience in a hardware engineering role.
* Can demonstrate appetite for engineering leadership.
* Demonstrated high performance and achievement throughout a full product development life cycle (including system design, development, integration, test, verification).
* Experienced in the architectural design of ruggedized computer systems based on VPX or CPCI or similar form factors.
* Familiar with the challenges of integrating single board computers and peripheral cards (VPX, CPCI or similar) into ruggedised computer systems.
* Familiar with Schematic design using Altium, Mentor Expedition or similar package.
* Familiar with the design, manufacture and component assembly of multi-layer PCBs.
* Familiar with DC-DC PSU design.
