Websites Manager
The Websites Manager will work within the Digital Marketing team based at our Milton Keynes HQ. This is a full time role where we currently allow a working arrangement with 3 days per week in our Milton Keynes office, with occasional travel to our London office (approximately 2-3 per month – travel reimbursed).
You will lead a small team of Website Executives and play a key role in driving the strategy, performance, and innovation of our websites across over 80 brands.
You will work closely with the wider marketing, IT Solutions & Development, and analytics teams to ensure our digital presence is high performing, user-centric, and aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Line manage and mentor a small team, providing guidance, support, and career development
2. Oversee day-to-day website operations across multiple brand sites, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality user experiences
3. Drive digital initiatives and optimisations, including new platform transitions planned for 2027/2028
4. Act as a bridge between marketing, IT, and analytics teams to deliver website enhancements and digital projects
5. Monitor website performance, KPIs, and user analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
6. Collaborate with SEO, analytics, and content teams to ensure best-in-class digital standards
7. Support content migration and platform transition projects, providing strategic oversight and guidance
8. Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) across all brand sites
Experience and Skills Required:
9. Proven experience managing multi-brand or large-scale digital websites
10. Experience in line management or leading a small digital team is desirable
11. Strong knowledge of CMS platforms, website optimisation, and digital best practices
12. Ability to translate analytics and performance data into actionable insights
13. Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
14. Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to present performance insights to leadership
15. UX/UI principles and understanding of user experience best practices
16. Accessibility standards (WCAG compliance knowledge)
17. SEO tools (Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs)
18. Heatmapping tools (Hotjar, Clarity)
19. A/B Testing tools
