Responsibilities
* Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
* Work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company
* Quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend
* Assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes – cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles
* Be patient and empathic with the passengers and keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys
Passenger Assistant Requirements
* Pass an enhanced criminal record check for work with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Willing to undertake first aid and be happy to advance to specialist medical training

Pay: £12.21 from 1st April 25

This role involves accompanying children to school on transport (Child Workforce LW 9) and conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability (Adult Workforce LW 12). The position therefore meets the definition of regulated activity under both child and adult workforce legislative wording and is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks.
