Job Opportunity: Audit Manager
TPF Recruitment proudly represents a prestigious mid-tier firm of Chartered Accountants, headquartered in Reading. We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their Audit & Assurance team.
As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a substantial client portfolio, ensuring quality and compliance with auditing standards, and contributing to the firm's growth through client relationships and business development.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing audit assignments, including planning, staffing, and adherence to deadlines.
* Ensuring high-quality audit work and participating in quality assurance processes.
* Briefing staff on client details and assignment requirements.
* Maintaining client relationships and fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
* Staying updated with industry developments and pursuing professional development.
* Identifying new business opportunities and supporting proposals and presentations.
* Mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
We seek candidates with:
* Managerial experience in a similar role.
* Proven ability to manage client portfolios and develop relationships.
* Experience with SME sector auditing is advantageous.
* Charity sector experience is a plus but not mandatory.
* Interest in business development.
* Salary circa £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.
