Junior Receptionist & Trainee Office Administrator who has good administrative, organisational, time-management, communication and customer services skills is required to for a well-established Legal Practice based in Newmarket, Suffolk. APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE After 1 year you will have the opportunity to complete a Legal Apprenticeship, is this is something you wanted to progress to. SALARY: £20,000 - £24,000 (depending on experience) Benefits LOCATION: Newmarket, Suffolk JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday Friday, 08:30 17:00 JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Junior Receptionist & Trainee Office Administrator who has good administrative, organisational, time-management, communication and customer services skills. Working as the Junior Receptionist & Trainee Office Administrator you will play an integral part within the company, providing essential administrative and reception support. If you are organised and enjoy a varied workday this position would be perfect for you. As a Junior Receptionist & Trainee Office Administrator you will take on the responsibility of managing the companys reception area, whilst also handling important clerical tasks. You will also work closely with the companys Legal Department, providing crucial administrative support, and be responsible for tasks such data entry. The company is committed to your growth and will provide ongoing on-the-job training, including the opportunities to attend meetings and learn directly from their Solicitors. DUTIES Your duties as a Junior Receptionist & Trainee Office Administrator will include: Work on reception - this includes answering general telephone and face to face enquiries, signing in visitors, offering drinks, etc Work across the Legal Departments as required to provide general clerical / admin support across the team e.g. photocopying, filing, emailing, telephone calls and general typing Undertake routine administration tasks as required (Training will be provided on an on-going basis) Operate computerised records system (ALB) to include opening and closing files, archiving including retrieval, familiarity with different reporting functions Collect, sort and distribute mail as directed when required Binding and file opening as directed Administrative and organisation support to other staff Attend, under the guidance of Solicitors, meetings and receive opportunities for learning, on an on-the-job basis within the departments Understand the archiving/destruction process and assist the Office Administrator / Archivist as required Further duties as may reasonably be expected CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Excellent communication skills both written and spoken IT literacy - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Keen and willing to learn Positive can-do attitude Team player HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
