Are you a driven and commercially minded sales professional looking to make a real impact? We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team, covering the West Midlands region.
As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibility will be to maximise the sales of our full product range, achieving and exceeding budgeted targets. You’ll play a vital role in identifying and converting both core and technical product opportunities, working closely with existing stockists to increase volumes. You will also develop a strong network of end users, enhancing our market presence and strengthening relationships with Merchants and Distributors in your territory.

Key Tasks and Duties:
* Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with end users (including Main Contractors, House Builders, Developers, Sub-contractors such as Ground Workers, Bricklayers, Plasterers, Screeders, Roofing Contractors, etc.)
* Work closely with existing Distributors and Key Merchants to ensure growth across all product groups and secure margin growth
* Create and maintain a Journey Plan for your designated Sales Area
* Utilize the Company CRM system (PSA) to record daily activities and generate quotes (CDQ’s) for customers
* Collaborate with the relevant Specification Manager to maintain a project pipeline for Merchants & Distributors
* Participate in monthly meetings with the Specification Manager to discuss projects and customer targets to maximize technical product sales
* Work with the Sales Support Executive to ensure customers have current POS and Literature
* Achieve company performance standards, including call rates and reporting
* Attend all Unilin UK & Regional Sales Meetings
* Present the current Unilin Part L CPD as per CCPI Competency Training Matrix
