Geologist / Engineering Geologist

As our company grows, we are expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Geologist to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for reliable, flexible, and driven Geologists to join our Geotechnical Team. You will be involved in a variety of unique projects across the country. It is important to be proactive and independent, while also being a strong team player. Good management skills and industry experience are essential to succeed in this role.
The tasks you will undertake include:
1. Confidently applying ground investigation techniques.
2. Preparing Health & Safety documentation before and during site works, managing safety of operatives, and promoting a safe working environment.
3. Planning, supervising, and programming Ground Investigation projects across the UK.
4. Logging Soil and Rock samples according to specifications and BS5930:2015+A1:2020.
To be successful, you should:
1. Hold a degree in a Geotechnical discipline.
2. Possess a full UK Driving Licence.
