Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hybrid Cloud Technical Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and deployment of hybrid cloud infrastructure projects. This role requires a generalist understanding of Cloud (Azure / M365) as well as on-premise infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities and Skills:
* Planning and Implementation:
o Design, and execution of hybrid cloud infrastructure projects in alignment with industry best practices.
o Facilitate architecture discussions and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional and global teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
o Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, offer technical insights, and communicate architectural solutions clearly and effectively.
o Proven experience in designing and deploying hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions creating HLD, LLD and standards for operational teams to align to.
o Transition of new solutions and technologies into the operations teams for BAU management.
* Infrastructure Expertise:
o Design and deploy Hybrid cloud solutions using a mixture of on-premise and cloud technologies.
o Azure - Azure AD, AD Connect, Enterprise and App Registrations, Conditional access Policies, Landing zones, Subscriptions, Management Groups, Policies, Virtual machines, Storage Accounts (Blob, Files), SQL PaaS, PIM.
o Microsoft 365 – Licensing E3/5, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Security and compliance (Purview).
o On-premise – Microsoft Server - AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO, Virtualization -VMware/Nutanix, Backup Systems (Commvault), MS SQL, SolarWinds.
o Passion for scripting, automation.
o Generalist background.
* Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
o Experience of On-premise and Azure networking - Express Route, Azure Firewall, NSG's, VWAN etc.
o MS Intune and SCCM experience.
o IAC experience.
o Datacenter migrations and disaster recovery planning.
o Possession of relevant certifications.
