Status - Fixed Term Contract
Salary - £30,163 (+ £3,351.44 for 4 hours AHS)
Salary Rate - Pro Rata
Days/Hours of work - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend and bank holiday work on a rota basis during peak season.
About The Role and About You
We are seeking a highly motivated Deputy Team Leader to support the Central Warehouse Manager in leading our Warehouse team based in Croydon. Your role will involve managing warehouse operations to ensure distribution demands are met daily for retail stores and ecommerce fulfillment.
You should demonstrate:
1. Driven to succeed and meet targets.
2. Excellent knowledge of systems learning.
3. Experience as a Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader.
4. Previous warehouse experience is essential.
5. Openness to change and adaptability.
6. Enthusiasm and positivity.
7. Ability to train and motivate staff.
8. Full clean driving license.
9. Relevant H&S qualifications, ability to become a first aider, stock control knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer service.
10. Good IT, numeracy, and communication skills.
This role is varied and requires good organization, motivation, independence, and teamwork. The position involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and bank holiday work during peak seasons.
Pay Range: £10 - £33,514 (including 4 hours AHS) per annum, pro rata
