Role: Lead Solutions Architect
Location: Midlands HQ, largely remote
Package: Package estimate circa £120k-£150k
Role / Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Solution Architecture leader, someone who has a solid track record operating at a Senior Solutions Architecture level that naturally finds themselves now leading teams, on large-scale programmes.
This isn’t a deeply technical role, whilst it will be engaged on multi-million £ technology led transformation programmes, we’re looking for someone who’s comfortable partnering with executive leadership teams, coaching and guiding delivery, and using your Architecture background to help a UK recognised industry leader to deliver modern, forward-thinking technology led solutions.
With a huge change agenda, a massive charge for digitisation. We’re looking for someone that has delivered on complex programmes, ideally focused on sized integration, data, digital and SaaS.
Suited to Lead Architects, Heads of Architecture, Senior or Principal Solutions Architect
Key areas of the role:
* Working with technical and non-technical executive-level stakeholders (including board level)
* Leading on (actual) significant technology-led transformation programmes, and owning the HLD and Architecture component working with cross functional teams
* Ensuring fit for purpose technology offerings, aligned with organisational goals and objectives
* Accountable for designing modern-day Architecture solutions to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure
* Leading teams of highly experienced Solutions, Data and Integrations Architects
* Creating, owning and updating cloud/SaaS first Technology roadmaps aligned to organisational goals
Key skills and experience:
* Track record operating at Senior, Principal. Lead / Head of Architecture (Focused on enterprise-solutions) within a reputable organisation
* Track record of working with executive teams, to not just Architect but also gain buy-in and help steer complex delivery
* Background in Engineering, Applications, Integration or Data, now with a T-shaped Architecture skill set
* Natural leadership ability – someone who has experience leading teams of experienced Solutions Architects
* Understanding of modern, complex Architecture (SaaS, Data, Cloud, AI)
This role operates largely remote, with a couple of times a month in the office. Commutable form Birmingham, Nottingham Leicester, Derby, Coventry, Northampton, East Midlands, West Midlands, Oxford, Worcester, Milton Keynes, Gloucester, Gloucestershire and more
