Graduate International Tax Trainee - £28-30k – North London
Do you love puzzles, precision and numbers? GRB are currently partnering with a boutique international tax advisory firm who are looking for a detail-obsessed, curious and highly numerate graduate to train as an International Tax Trainee.
You’ll work closely with senior advisors to solve some of the most intricate tax scenarios for private clients, working on cases that require logic, analytical thinking and a meticulous nature. This is not ordinary accounting. You’ll deep-dive into the complexity of dual tax systems, working with numbers, rules, and real-world cases to make sense of challenging client situations.
What could you be doing?
1. Assist the partners and senior team with preparing client case work
2. Handling client issues
3. Learning rules regarding international taxation
4. Using Excel and tax software to analyse and manipulate client data
5. Conducting research into tax topics
Many of this firms senior team started as graduates, so there are lots of opportunities to progress at your own rate. You can study for a number of tax qualifications after a year in the role, such as the ATT.
What do you need?
6. Very strong love of detail
7. Excellent numeracy
8. Interested in working within an international tax advisory firm
9. Ideally an A in Maths A Level
10. A degree in Science, Maths, Economics or related
11. 2:2’s or mitigating circumstances will be considered from students at top 10 universities
12. Live within a commutable distance to North London
13. Available to start summer 2025
