Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: Degree or equivalent experience in a technical ICT based discipline Extensive relevant experience in cloud, development, application, integration, and/or data development Extensive Azure IaaS and PaaS solution management, tooling, automation, scripting, and implementation experience Extensive Intune and Autopilot solution management and implementation experience In-depth knowledge of the evergreen Modern Management ecosystem and device support Experience leading and working with technical and expert staff in professional and matrix structures Strong analytical, visualization, and communication skills; ability to translate business requirements using analysis methods Understanding and experience of AGILE software development and ITIL support & service frameworks Broad and deep knowledge and skills to work across complex heterogeneous systems Commitment to remaining technically competent in emerging technologies Welsh Language level A1 required, with support available for learning Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance and a satisfactory DBS check Responsibilities: Lead and be accountable for the implementation of solution designs, architecture, and strategic technical building blocks across Azure Direct, oversee, and coordinate Azure/Microsoft Modern Management implementation and configuration work Act as a technical advisor authority and escalation point for incident management and mentoring Collaborate with the Principal Architect to maintain NRW ICT principles, blueprints, and reference designs Engage in strategic discussions with the Principal Architect and ICT seniors on technology development Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and facilitate early transition to new services Ensure all implementations meet security best practices and collaborate with the Security Team Work closely with developers, PMs, BAs, support teams, and stakeholders throughout the system life cycle Develop and maintain low-level designs, documentation, and knowledge bases Participate in incident response activities and fulfill other reasonable duties as required Technologies: Architect Azure Cloud ICT IaaS Support ITIL Matrix PaaS Security CI/CD DevOps More: At Natural Resources Wales, we are committed to protecting and enhancing Waless environment through innovative cloud solutions.
