Creating a high-quality guest experience isn’t just about our front-of-house and other hotel-based teams. So, by keeping financial records and data secure, accurate and up to date, you’ll help ensure we’re in a good place to continue providing great destinations that guests return to time after time.
What you’ll do:
• Take ownership of Accounts Receivable function, including preparing, issuing and reconciling customer invoices, statements, commissions and payments.
• Monitor outstanding balances and support the credit control process.
• Assist with a variety of other finance tasks to support the finance team as needed.
• Check figures, reconciliations, postings, and documents for accuracy and correct coding.
• Organise, secure and maintain financial files and records.
• Classify, code and summarise financial data using journals, ledgers and spreadsheets.
• Support the Accounts Payable process, including invoice verification, vendor payments and expense tracking when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of information, protecting the privacy and security of guests and co-workers.
What we’re looking for
• A positive outlook and team-first attitude
• Strong arithmetic computation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
• Previous hospitality experience is preferred and familiarity with systems such as OPERA and SUN would be a big plus
