Job Title: Early Years Education Deputy Manager
Purpose of the job:
* To contribute to the provision of a safe, high-quality education and care for pre-school children
* To fulfil legal and statutory requirements
* To lead a team on a day-to-day basis
* To contribute and implement pre-school policies
* To deputise and take the appropriate level of responsibilities in the absence of the Manager
Person specification:
* Recognised Level 3 or above qualification in working with young children.
* Sound understanding of child development and children's individual needs.
* Ability to plan and implement a pre-school curriculum.
* Commitment and understanding of diversity and equality.
* Ability to work as an effective team member and own initiative.
* Satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children.

* Can provide high-quality teaching, and be innovative and original in stimulating learning opportunities.
* Able to develop strong relationships and promote positive parental involvement.
* Have high expectations of yourself and of the children in your care.
