Overview
The Salaried General Practitioner will be a key member of the Emergency Assessment and Access Services within the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), providing primary medical care to patients who self‑refer or are referred from ED or NHS 111. Each practitioner will be responsible for delivering high‑quality primary medical services to patients streamed to the UTC. The role is supported by a multidisciplinary team (MDT). The post holder will work closely with the MDT to proactively manage and anticipate patients’ future health needs, developing appropriate care plans with a strong emphasis on delivering safe, effective, and patient‑centred care. We have a number of late weekday sessions (14:00–22:00) available, as well as early (08:00–14:00) and late sessions (14:00–22:00) available at weekends for an interested candidate.
