Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced and committed teacher who will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional and an excellent classroom practitioner to lead and manage our client schools well established, highly collaborative, and successful D&T Department.
This is an exciting role for the successful candidate as the school has just opened a sixth form and is preparing its first sixth-form student cohort for A-level exams.
The school is therefore seeking to employ a teacher who can teach across all key stages, as A Level provision will be required. The successful candidate will be fully supported in the development of their leadership skills by the department and by the Senior Leadership Team. The school is a mixed, non-denominational school that opened up less than 5 years ago. Set up by primary and secondary Headteachers in the Borough to meet the demand for extra school places,
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
1. Qualified Teacher Status,
2. The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results,
3. Excellent organisational and ICT skills
4. The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
5. You are a fully qualified teacher(PGCE,QTS,B’ED etc).
6. You can provide 2 teaching references within the last 2 years.
7. You hold the right to work in the UK.
8. You have a DBS or are willing to complete one.
9. You have a passion for Education.
