Business Development Executive - Office-Based (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Tipton (brand-new, state-of-the-art office)
Pay Rate: Up to £30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Bonus: Quarterly company-wide bonus (at client’s discretion)
Benefits: Free onsite parking

About the Role
We are recruiting a Business Development Executive to join a growing sales team at the company’s brand-new Tipton office. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career potential, perfect for someone looking to develop within a structured and supportive office-based sales environment.

You will focus on generating new business and managing relationships with indirect customers, helping to grow the company’s B2B client base - all from the office, no client travel required.

Key Responsibilities

*

Generate new business through inbound enquiries, cold calling, and networking leads

*

Follow up on cold and warm leads to maximise sales opportunities

*

Manage and develop relationships with existing and new indirect customers

*

Understand and confidently demonstrate products and services to customers

*

Work closely with the Sales and Quotation teams to ensure customer requirements are met

*

Guide new customers through the full sales process, from initial contact to closing the sale

*

Maintain and update the indirect customer database

*

Track sales activity and customer spend

*

Report customer feedback, sales data, and trends to the Team Leader and Sales Director

*

Identify new targets within existing and emerging markets

*

Upsell company strengths and new product ranges to encourage repeat business

Requirements

*

Previous experience in proactive sales, telesales, or a related role is advantageous

*

Experience or knowledge of the Electrical or Cable Management industry is beneficial

*

Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively over the phone

*

Proven ability to work towards sales targets while maintaining margins

*

Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); social media knowledge desirable

*

Excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills
