About the Role
Reporting to the School Marketing Manager, the Communications & Events Executive will play an integral role in the brand management of the school. The Executive will develop the school’s communications and will implement the organic marketing strategy whilst simultaneously driving forward a dynamic social media and events presence to showcase the school. They will contribute towards all aspects of marketing at the school and will ensure all content aligns with the school’s brand values, ensuring collateral is compliant with the brand guidelines. The role will require attendance and operational input into key school events such as open days.
The role supports the wider marketing strategy as set out by the Pod Marketing Manager which should ensure the School is represented, in all mediums, in line with an agreed strategic positioning and clear ethos to ensure the maximum number of enquiries and leads are provided to the admissions teams and drive the highest retention of existing students. The role will also be responsible for creating ‘special moments’ that exceed customers' expectations – that delight and surprise – through communication and in‑person events.

Key Responsibilities
Communications
The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of engaging internal communications, including curriculum booklets and a range of promotional materials. They will take ownership of the school’s social media presence, creating compelling posts and editorial content that reflects the brand and connects with the community. The role also involves developing targeted conversion communications and email campaigns for stakeholders across the pipeline, as well as managing the school newsletter and coordinating content within the parent portal. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the stock and distribution of printed publications and branded merchandise, ensuring consistency and quality across all communications.
Events
The role will also involve supporting the organisation and delivery of both internal and external events that showcase the school to prospective and current parents, including open days. The successful candidate will assist in capturing high‑quality photography and video content at events for use across communications and social media channels, helping to bring the school’s story to life. In addition, they will support with tours for prospective families when required, ensuring a warm, informative, and engaging experience in the absence of the Admissions Manager.
General
The successful candidate will provide flexible support across both admissions and marketing activities within the school, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic working environment. They will also work closely with key colleagues, including the Head Teacher, Operations Manager, Admissions Manager, and wider school team, offering reliable and proactive assistance to ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations and the delivery of high‑quality communications and experiences.

We are seeking a personable and enthusiastic graduate with a passion for social media and communications, who thrives on building brands through authentic storytelling. The ideal candidate is approachable, relatable, and energised by working with others, bringing a natural ability to connect and communicate in a way that creates genuine emotional impact. A proactive self‑starter, you will be comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively within a team, demonstrating excellent organisational and administrative skills and the ability to remain calm and detail‑focused under pressure. You will be dedicated to creating memorable experiences that exceed expectations, with a strong eye for detail and an appreciation for brand consistency and guardianship.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with design and communication tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, or Canva would be advantageous. You will bring experience in managing communication campaigns, supporting events, and working within marketing or brand management, ideally within a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment. Confidence in using digital tools, particularly social media platforms, is key to success in this role.
