Event Operations Manager
Location: Surrey
Salary: £36,000 £40,000
My client is a premium events catering business known for delivering high-end weddings and bespoke events across the South East. They are now seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to lead the delivery of events and ensure exceptional standards on-site.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering beautifully executed events. You will take full ownership on the day, managing teams, coordinating suppliers and ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of events from set-up through to completion
Take full ownership of event sites, acting as the main point of contact for clients, venues and teams
Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless handover and execution
Manage event staffing, ensuring efficient scheduling and control of staffing budgets
Build and maintain strong relationships with venues and key partners
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safe working practices
Represent the business professionally, maintaining brand standards at all times
About You
At least 3 years experience within event operations, catering or venue management
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident leading teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Organised, proactive and calm under pressure
A genuine passion for food, events and delivering exceptional experiences
