Lead Security Operations Engineer - FinTech - SIEM, SecOps, SOC
Oliver Bernard are currently working with a fast growing FinTech company based in Leeds, who are looking to take on a Lead Security Operations Engineer as part of plans to scale their Security practices, with a particular emphasis on driving the strategy around their SIEM solutions.
The incoming profile will need to have a strong balance of hands-on security experience (across SIEM, EDR, SOC etc) whilst being comfortable driving and shaping a security strategy, leading others from the front, and managing a small tight-knit team of 3-4 other engineers.
To be a suitable fit for this opening, the following experience is required:
* At least 5 years within Security / Cyber focused positions
* Prior experience in a SecOps capacity
* Capable shaping SIEM solutions (ideally with hands-on Google Chronicle experience, but Sentinel, Splunk, and equivalents will be considered)
* Strong history working across Monitoring, Alerting and Triaging
* Be able to Lead a team of engineers, whilst driving security first practices
This is a hybrid opening, with 3 office days p/week in Leeds, and can offer £65-75K for the right profile (plus benefits).
