This is a full-time position based in our Christchurch Airport office responsible for providing a professional level of frontline and administrative service and support related to the airport operations environment. You will be expected to add value as a team member and ensure that business continuity is sustained.
You will need to have strong time management skills, be resourceful and confident working in a pressurized and fast paced environment and highly skilled in conflict resolution.
The ability to form good interpersonal relationships with both internal and external customers is a key requirement.
A good understanding of the Office365 suite of applications and experience with airline reservations and departure control systems such as Amadeus Customer Management and Amadeus Flight Management is preferred but not necessary.
Previous airline customer service experience and knowledge of operational procedures would be an advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
* Customer servicing in operational areas, including, but not limited to, check-in, departure gate, baggage, apron, lounge and arrivals
* Oversee and work closely with handling agents to uphold Singapore Airlines’ customer servicing standards
* General office administration, including invoice verification and specific areas of responsibility as assigned on a rotational basis
* Ensuring that procedures are followed and station targets are met
* Ad hoc tasks as assigned
* There is a requirement to work shifts and extended hours in case of flight disruptions.
This position is based in the Singapore Airlines Christchurch airport office with uniform and car park provided and attracts a package including penal rates depending on rostered shifts, free and discounted travel and subsidised medical benefits.
