Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 3) Helping Little Learners Shine A nurturing and well-established primary school in Carlisle is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their warm and welcoming team. This is a long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right person. About the Role Every day in the Early Years brings moments of discovery, creativity, and joy. Working closely with the class teacher, you'll help children explore, learn, and grow through play-based experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting engaging, hands-on learning across the EYFS curriculum Providing personalised support to children with SEND, both one-to-one and in small groups Recording progress and capturing key moments of development Creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child feels valued and confident About You You're passionate about giving children the best possible start in life and thrive in a setting where every day is different. You'll bring: A Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance, Childcare, or Early Years Experience supporting young children, ideally within an Early Years or Nursery setting A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach, especially when supporting children with SEND A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills A genuine enthusiasm for early learning and child development About the School This is a vibrant, inclusive school community where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
