THE EMPLOYER IS: BUFAB IRELAND LTD Bufab Ireland are looking to recruit a full-time warehouse operative to assist in their busy Lisburn warehouse. The successful candidate will participate in our warehouse operations and activities to store materials, pick, pack and scan orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* To ensure incoming and outgoing deliveries are dealt with efficiently and comply to safety and legal requirements.
* Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
* Working individually as well as a team to ensure all orders are picked before company deadlines.
* Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
* Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
* Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
* Complete diary logs into inventory.
* Report any discrepancies.
* Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
* Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
* Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Good attention to detail.
* Great organisational skills.
* Use of Microsoft Office tools.
* Good communication skills.
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety.
* Full driving licence.
Desirable Skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
* Able to lift and move stock as required.
* Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse environment.
* Forklift Licence.
